Uggh. Maybe it wasn't Haloscan. Your site seems to be running pretty slow and stuff - got an error message the first time I submitted. Maybe the reason for my double comment, too. Sorry!

Yes. We have been having problems since Saturday afternoon. Part of the problem is a bad disk drive on the server which is being replaced. Unfortunately, the other part of the problem is an increased intensity of trackback spam attacks, something that will only get worse over time.
