Confused Americans for Truth - Gwyneth Paltrow is More Wrong Than We Thought

This week's official moron at The Crazy Rants of Samantha Burns is Gwyneth Paltrow. Gwyneth earned this status by stating that the British are more intelligent and civilized than Americans.

Gwyneth made her statement after an election in which America did the exact opposite of what I told them to do. In addition, Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow, who are responsible for saddling her with the goofy first name "Gwyneth", are both Americans. For these reasons, Ms. Paltrow may have some justification for disrespecting the American public; however, she couched her statement as a comparison. In order for her observation to be valid, we have to show that the British are less stupid than the Americans.

The sad truth is that the British are just as silly as we are. I have just learned that the city council of Kingston upon Hull have forbidden the local garbagemen from wearing Santa hats. According to one council member:

Employees can wear Christmas hats in their own time. Wearing them during work time does not create a professional impression. Further, there can be health and safety implications should hats get in the way of dangerous machinery operation.

There are only two ways this can go. Either the city council is out of its mind, or British garbagemen are too stupid to wear hats.

The point is, human beings are human beings, and regardless of where they live or what kind of gene pool they're coming from, they have an equal capacity for sense and silliness. Call me crazy, but in a world where people are killing each other over what type of mosque they attend, it seems rather silly to try to endear yourself to your new home by bashing your old one.

Paltrow is definitely not a patriot. Talk about spitting in the face of the country that made you what you are--a 'hollyweird' rich 'cat'.

And by the way did you hear her "DO" that 'fake' British accent? Beyond laughable...grrrrrrrrr!

Muslim-only swim time at Thornton Heath leisure centre in South London. Seems Muslims are offended by women at the pool (with men--kinda like Baptists deep in the Bible Belt back in the day when I was a kid--so Baptists built their own pools) and offended by men wearing suits that didn't cover their navels and knees. So... the Croydon Council in South London decided to block out full community access during certain times of the weekend to give Muslims their special Sharia time.

Oh great, now I'm envisioning their cops (or bobbies, as they call them) strolling the streets, twirling their batons, and wearing Santa hats with big, fluffy, white pompoms on the end of 'em.
