Laura Ingraham - A Note on Mitt Romney's Faith

by Ferdinand T Cat

Today on the Laura Ingraham Show, she was discussing the fact that Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is a Mormon. Laura did not have a problem herself with Governor Romney's religion, but mentioned that she has received some emails from people who are disturbed by some of the tenets of the Mormon faith, especially that there was a Jewish civilization living in North America in the Fourth Century. So, the question is what effect Romney's faith would have on the voting public.

One caller pointed out that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is also a Mormon, and that has not hindered his rise to the leadership of the Senate. This is, of course, a completely irrelevant comparison, because, let's face it folks: nobody expects a Democrat to be influenced by his religious beliefs.

Respectfully submitted,
