Web Site News - Okay, so the Worst ISN'T Over
Yesterday, the Bronze Empire got hacked. No information was lost, but several back door scripts were planted that allowed hackers to run their evil programs from this site. Because the scripts keep rebuilding themselves, the entire Bronze Empire web site had to be taken down.
The Bronze Empire uses TikiWiki, a very powerful content management system. Almost all of our security problems have stemmed from that section of the site. If we can't fix the problem, we may have to take it down permanently, which is very depressing.
Anyway, Bruce is keeping a record of his experiences this week, starting from the laptop meltdown, and he's hoping to turn it into a horror film.
