Confused Americans for Truth - Hillary Clinton and the Wild-Eyed Promise

by Ferdinand T Cat

Yesterday conservative columnist David Limbaugh discussed the scary prospect of a Hillary Clinton Presidency. There is something deeply disturbing about Hillary's announcement , and I think it's in this paragraph.

You know, after six years of George Bush, it is time to renew the promise of America. Our basic bargain that no matter who you are or where you live, if you work hard and play by the rules, you can build a good life for yourself and your family.

This is utter nonsense. The promise of America is that there are crazy people who risk millions of dollars on crazy ideas, and if that crazy idea pleases the American public, the crazy person gets billions of dollars in return. Bruce's hard work didn't create the microcomputer chip or Starbucks, but they have a lot more to do with his good life than anything Hillary Clinton can do.

In fact, Hillary Clinton wants to punish the crazy people. Like all Democrats, she wants to raise their taxes. But of course, it's more than that. Her initial response to the internet was to strangle it with regulations. Worst of all, Hillary's health care plan included jail time for trying to go outside the box.

So don't let yourself get confused by Senator Clinton's rhetoric. Capitalism isn't designed for capitalists. For every capitalist who wins big, there are hundreds that go bust. It is the little guy who reaps the benefits built by the wild-eyed gamblers at the top. That's the real promise of America. The surest way to break that promise is to punish the wild-eyed gamblers. At some deep, instinctive level, you know this.

Which is why Hillary makes your skin crawl.

Respectfully submitted,
