Confused Americans for Truth - Planning to Invade Iran
Somebody in the Defense Department screwed up and passed secret war plans to the BBC instead of The New York Times, the preferred source for news damaging to the War on Terror. I have no doubt the person responsible for this screwup will be fired, but in the meantime the BBC has printed the story anyway.
Perhaps the BBC hopes that knowing which targets the U.S. plans to hit will strike fear into the hearts of Iranian leaders, or perhaps they are trying to make the Bush Administration look trigger-happy. But other than the information that will help the Iranian government plan their defense, there really is no news here. Of course we have plans on file for attacking Iraq. We probably have plans on file for taking out China and North Korea, too. If we had any sense, we'd also have plans for invading France. The point is, having a plan for an invasion is completely different from planning to invade. We don't have the manpower to execute all our war plans, which is why we try really hard to have peace. Unfortunately, the bad guys have figured this out, so our peaceful overtures to Iran haven't changed anything.
If the BBC is so anxious to dig out some secret war plans, why don't they ask what the Democrats plan to do to keep the terrorists from taking over Iraq. Obviously, as sincere American patriots who support the troops, the last thing the Democrats want to see is huge swath of terror-friendly countries stretching from Iran to Syria. So, if they're criticizing Bush's handling of the war, it must be from a perspective of knowing a better way to do things.
I think that would be a really interesting news story.
Respectfully submitted,

The most dangerous is the unvarying pussyfooting around Iran’s menace. For decades Iran has been igniting bloody conflicts using its long pawns of Hezbollah, Hamas, Iranian "Revolutionary Guards" in Iraq, empowering Hugo Chavez, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, flirting with Putin’s Russia and developing nuclear weapons. Yes - Iran had justified to be the first aim but it must not grow cover from prolonged operation in Iraq.
Today’s Iran’s war games is nothing but a vulgar, Hitler’s style, provocation – right in your face, encouraged by the defeatist strategy of the dems.
