Notes from Ferdy - A Modest Proposal for JetBlue

by Ferdinand T Cat

One of the casualties of this record cold February has been the reputation of JetBlue airlines. JetBlue stranded hundreds of passengers on the ground during last week's winter storms. While all airlines were affected by the storms, JetBlue proved that it was singularly unprepared.

JetBlue is facing millions of dollars of losses as a result of this debacle, but there is a way out. They can recoup those losses and then some by suing Al Gore. If they can prove key management personnel watched An Inconvenient Truth before planning their 2007 budget, then no jury would blame them for being blindsided by a winter storm.

By the way, if this idea works, I expect 10% of the proceeds.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
