Notes from Ferdy - A Better Idea for Turner Broadcasting
stikNstein has an article about the disastrous guerilla marketing stunt by Turner Broadcasting to promote its cartoon Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Essentially, they planted a bunch of electronic devices that were supposed to display crude depictions of characters from the show. Instead, the Boston police thought the things were terrorist devices and blew them up.
Anyway, I came up with what I think is a superior design for a replacement campaign, but for some unknown reason the Turner people aren't interested. I try to be helpful, really I do, but these corporate types are so closed-minded.
