Adventures with Bruce - Games to Play with Your Teenage Children

by Ferdinand T Cat

Are your teenage children spending a lot of time watching anime cartoons and playing Japanese video games? Here's a useful trick you can use to help make yourself a part of their entertainment experience. Every thirty minutes or so, one of the main characters in the game or cartoon will get a lecture about the importance of self-esteem. Whenever this happens, repeat the magic phrase Believe in yourself, Sailor Moon!. Bruce has been doing this off and on for several weeks now, and his children are positively speechless with gratitude. A few of them have even decided that the simple pleasure of reading a book is preferable to planting one's self in front of the tube. It's really quite amazing.

Just don't tell them who gave you the idea.

Respectfully submitted,
