The Dimwit Zone - Senator Clinton Announces Plan to Run as a Reagan Conservative

by Ferdinand T Cat

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton announced today that she intends to run as a Reagan Conservative. While most Republican candidates are positioning themselves as Ronald Reagan's heir, Senator Clinton would be the first Democrat.

"The American public wants a man who can make them feel good about their country and who can win wars without firing a shot," Mrs. Clinton told the Dimwit Zone news team. "I intend to be that man."

Clinton does differ with Reagan on some points, however. "Reagan was a big fan of tax cuts;" she told us, "but experience has shown that cutting tax rates actually increases tax receipts. Therefore, the best way to cut taxes is to increase the tax rates."

Senator Clinton also believes she can duplicate Reagan's foreign policy victories. "America's enemies were terrified of Reagan. I not only terrify America's enemies, but many of our friends and a good portion of the American public. No sane person will want to attack the United States while I'm in charge."

Hillary's chief rival, Barack Obama has declined to comment on her new direction.

Respectfully submitted,

Hi Ferdy and Bruce,

This comment is to apologize. I have found quite a few trackbacks, or I think, links, to my articles going back to, at least, February, that I haven't seen before!

Several have been your links. I have added all into the articles now.

I don't know how this happened. I can have two brower windows open and there will be links on one window, and none on the other. It's a puzzle - and one that I'm certain I should have figured out in my 3 months of blogging.

Anyway, I really do apologize. I am diligent about my incoming trackbacks and am appalled that I have missed these. It won't happen again, and thanks for the wonderful Linkfest service.
