Laura Ingraham - CNN Reporter Accidentally Admits Saddam Had Chemical Weapons

Today on The Laura Ingraham Show, Laura was discussing CNN reporter Michael Ware. I'm quoting the entire audio clip below. The emphasis is mine.

Chlorine is a very difficult thing to use as a weapon. Indeed, if you don't get it just right a lot of it just burns off harmlessly in the explosion and becomes non-toxic. You need to concentrate this stuff. But I can tell you this, Wolf. The insurgents have been experimenting with these things since 2003-2004. I was with them when they were trying to fill mortars with various types of chemicals, mainly blister agents left over from Saddam's regime.

Laura has made friends with many of the soldiers in Iraq, and her initial reaction was complete outrage that a reporter was watching insurgents trying to come up with better ways to kill her friends. But this completely understandable human reaction caused her to miss the important point, which is that blister agents are chemical weapons, and if the insurgents got them from Saddam, then SADDAM HUSSEIN HAD CHEMICAL WEAPONS.

So the next time someone tells you that Bush lied, you can say that in fact, the insurgents have the chemical weapons, and they're trying to figure out how to use them, and CNN reporter Michael Ware was on the scene when it was happening.

This is not a matter of US armed forces finding stockpiles and reporting them to the Senate. That may be credible to you and me, but means nothing to liberals. What matters to them is the testimony of detainees interrogated by the CIA. Well, we can now state unequivocally that the captured insurgents were lying and the CIA report is completely worthless. The insurgents have Saddam's chemical weapons and Michael Ware was there when it happened.

From now on, the mantra is

It's a whole different world, folks: the biggest myth of the war is officially busted.
