Adventures with Bruce - A Nightmare of Galactic Proportions

For some time, Bruce's wife has been working her way through seminary. Her final internship is scheduled to start in August and will last one full year. The seminary is sending her to a parish in North Dakota. This is considered a pretty plum assignment and has some sort of scholarship attached, but since it's a 10-hour drive from Wisconsin to North Dakota, mozzarella cheese is much more expensive out there.
The good news (and this is VERY good news) is that Bruce's wife is taking The Interloper with her. The bad news (and I find it even hard to THINK about this), is that she is also taking my favorite human in the whole world-- The Gremlin.
Bruce and the teenagers all have jobs in the Chicago area, so they're staying here with me and The Other Cat, but MY LITTLE SWEETHEART IS LEAVING ME. What is the seminary THINKING? Don't they know how important I am?
I wonder if maybe I would miss her less if they could put me in suspended animation for a year.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

That's Bruce's wife? I thought it was his daughter. LOL
You must belong to a very liberal denomination if it would consider breaking up a family this way. :(
