Adventures with Bruce - About Being Aprit Fooled by Point Five

by Ferdinand T Cat

As predicted, I feel really stupid, but Bruce doesn't care at all.

See, when he sees someone in trouble, his natural instinct is to help. He gives money to beggars even though everybody tells him it's a stupid idea. Many years ago, when his children were all going to the same church (and it wasn't his), he would sit in the church lobby during the service and work on his computer. People would come in claiming they needed money for gasoline so they could visit their sick grandmother and he would always oblige. The pastor explained that these were probably con artists, but he didn't care.

The really, really annoying thing about this is that his behavior is not going to change one whit and he will continue to drag me along with him.

In the meantime, if someone hacks your blog on April 1, there will be at least one person who will do everything he can to help, even though it might be a trick.

God help us all.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

The problem with humans, Ferdinand, is that they are a fallen race. Half of them are forever spending their time trying to make up for their faults by doing noble things, mostly to counteract the dreadful things that the other half are doing. Better to be a cat and have no faults at all.

If it makes you feel any better, I vomited on the carpet in front of the bathroom last night, and a4g stepped in it on the way to take his shower this morning. After all, karma sometimes needs a cat to help it along.

Ferdy,

You should be proud of Bruce. When I found out from Bruce that a blog got hacked, I knew he would be helping them and I was glad for it. When I found out it was an April Fool joke, I was upset, because I knew some people had been concerned needlessly. But I was proud to be Bruce’s friend, because I know he’ll always do what he can to help someone in trouble. That’s a special quality.

Be glad of it, my furry friend. I’ve heard rumors that all that DNA stuff they’re finding out about proves that people who have the genetics for generous hearts also have the genetics necessary to realize that nearby kitties need Sargento cheese.
