Confused Americans for Truth - Don Imus is Not the Real Problem

by Ferdinand T Cat

So Don Imus is through at CBS radio. This is not as big a deal as it sounds, because he will almost certainly be back somewhere else. That is, after all, how it worked with Howard Stern, who sets the standard for shock jocking.

But the real problem is not Imus. The real problem is the whiny response by the Rutgers basketball team. Some day these girls are going to be mothers, and a mother cannot afford to be weak. For one thing, it is likely you will be outnumbered by the little creatures, and they need to feel your force of will. For another, if some guy is posing a danger to one of your daughters, you don't want to cry for help from Al Sharpton, you want to bring the young lad over to the house and show him how easy it is to hurt someone with a cast iron frying pan and a cheese knife. This is basic Motherhood 101.

Honestly, I have no respect for these women any more, and if that offends them, then they should come down here and beat the crap out of Bruce for letting me be so rude. I would welcome this development. Not only would it re-affirm my flagging faith in modern women, but it would almost certainly be followed by a proposal of marriage from Peg-Eye Nate. Bruce would gleefully get beat up twice if he thought it would eventually lead to grandchildren.

Trust me, I understand this stuff.

Respectfully submitted
