The Girl Who Feeds Me - Portrait of a Girl With Fuzzy Cat

Here you can see The Girl Who Feeds Me in her natural environment, which is working on her computer while The Other Cat sits in her lap.
The Girl is one of the most logical people I've ever met, but when it comes to The Other Cat she's completely bamboozled. It doesn't matter what The Girl is doing-- eating, working, using the phone-- when The Other Cat wants lap time, The Girl lets her have it. This is especially heartbreaking when you consider that The Girl is completely immune to my Special Look.
The pattern of these incidents is always the same. The Other Cat walks into the room looking neither left of right, as if the rest of us are completely insignificant. She leaps onto the blue chair and waits for The Girl to make room, which generally takes only a few seconds. Then she plants herself in The Girl's lap for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. While she's there, The Girl won't move for anything.
I know she's old, and I'm supposed to make allowances, but it really upsets me that The Other Cat is unfairly taking advantage of The Girl's good nature. Really.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat
