Pet Food News - South Africa Recalls Vets Choice and Royal Canin
South Africa is recalling pet foods manufactured using corn gluten imported from China. This pretty much makes the entire situation hopeless.
The United States is a net exporter of corn gluten. If your pet food was manufactured in the United States, it is highly likely that it is using American corn gluten rather than the Chinese product. Nonetheless, the only completely safe recourse at this point is to eat foods made for humans.
