Catblogging - The Hooded-Eyes Look

by Ferdinand T Cat

Head Shot of Ferdy looking disdainful
The Hooded Eyes Look is one of the most important facial expressions in a cat's repertoire. From any angle it looks to be equal parts arrogance and disdain. Early man recognized that cats were useful as killers of vermin, but it was the Hooded Eyes Look that made us into gods.

One of the big problems that conservatives have is the general perception by our opposition that we're unsophisticated yokels just waiting for a smart person to enlighten us. Laura Ingraham wrote an entire book about it. The Hooded Eyes Look is a very easy mechanism for dispelling that notion once and for all. Of course, your round pupils are a bit of a disadvantage, but you can compensate by getting glasses and pushing them down your nose a bit.

Anyway, if you are a conservative and you live with a cat, spend some time observing the Hooded Eyes Look, get some glasses with clear lenses, and practice in front of a mirror. The next time somebody tries to convince you that a border fence is racist you'll be prepared.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

This is hilarious! And wonderful!

Cats use this look often, don't they? We humans are sooooo irritating!
