The Girl Who Feeds Me - The Brad Paisley Thing Was Just the Tip of the Iceberg

by Ferdinand T Cat

Okay, people, we have a serious problem here.

For as long as I can remember, The Girl Who Feeds Me has been the White Sheep of the Parrello family. For the past seven years, she served as a valuable conduit between me and mainstream American culture. Now it's all over.

It began when she decided she liked country and western music. Now, some of you may consider that to be mainstream, but it can't be TOO mainstream because Peg-Eye Nate likes it. A lot.

The worst damage, however, began when she started doing her homework and stuff in the room where Bruce has his office. This means that Bruce has been hearing her music. Yesterday afternoon while he was making lunch he began singing Honky Tonk Badonkadonk. Even if you are the biggest Trace Adkins fan in the world, you would have found it a traumatizing experience. Correction: especially if you are the biggest Trace Adkins fan in the world you would have found it a traumatizing experience.

But it gets worse. While Bruce has been listening to The Girl's music selections, she has been listening to his advice! Now she has reached the point where she can fix problems with her computer without asking for help.

Goodbye White Sheep, hello Daddy's Little Girl.

I'm so depressed.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

Great post!

But the image of Bruce singing that song is hard to handle this early in the morning!

Coulda been worse, Ferdy. She could have been listening to Shania Twain, and Bruce could have launched into "Man, I Feel Like a Woman."

Count your blessings.
