The Girl Who Feeds Me - You Could Help Prevent a Serious Step Backward for Modern Feminism

by Ferdinand T Cat

This week The Girl Who Feeds Me is teaching the pre-kindergarten class at her church's Vacation Bible School. The Girl is a bit young for that sort of thing, but she tends to be good at everything she tries, and also has a real gift for handling children with developmental disorders. (Although I suppose being Bruce's daughter for a decade and a half can teach you a lot about mental problems.)

Anyway, the problem is that this experience has crystallized The Girl's desire for a career in early childhood education. While I am sure this would be a rewarding career in which she could do a great deal of good, I feel that as a semi-public figure she needs to set an example, so for the sake of women's rights everywhere, I think it would be better if she sought a career as a business executive at-- to pick an industry entirely at random-- a major cheese manufacturer.

So if you live in Illinois, please call your congressman and point out that it would be an incredible benefit to the local economy if a cheese company based in (to take another random example) Plymouth, Wisconsin opened a branch office in the Chicago area. It doesn't have to be a large office, just big enough so that the employees would qualify for a major discount. It would also help if they gave out MBA scholarships.

Anyway, I think you can see how something like this can be a huge benefit for everybody. Also, a teenage girl from Illinois wanting to be a business executive would be a great help in convincing people that a female President is a good idea, so the junior senator for New York might also be open to my suggestion.

Don't do it for me. Do it for feminism.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
