Catblogging - The Denim Jacket Trick
Here you can see me sleeping on The Girl's favorite denim jacket. Now, in general, a denim jacket is not very comfortable as a sleeping place, and as camouflage it is quite terrible, meaning the Other Cat can find me pretty easily if she's in one of those moods where she wants to hiss at me or something.
There is, however, a higher principle at work here. If The Girl wants to wear her favorite jacket, she has to get me off of it, and the easiest way to get me moving is to start taking a bag of Sargento's Fancy Shred out of the refrigerator.
Anyway, that's the plan. Unfortunately, up to this point her technique for getting me off the jacket is to yell real loud and make like she plans to kick me. I do, however, believe humans are capable of learning, and eventually she has to figure out that the solution involving mozzarella cheese is the better one. A superior life form like me can afford to be patient.
