Notes from Ferdy - The Trials of a Suburban Predator: A True Story
The Invader tries to run.
Eons of evolution give me the advantage:
There is no escape from my magic eyes.
One leap, and he is Mine!
But hold! Human footsteps approach!
Away I must go so I can eat in peace.
There is a squishy sound behind me.
A blood-curdling scream punctures the night.
Drat! I dropped the stupid mouse.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat
