Confused Americans for Truth - Nancy Pelosi's Astounding Success

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi [D, CA] has stated that one of the problems with the War in Iraq is that the average American is not sacrificing enough. Back in the Viet Nam days, there was a national draft, and every family was at risk of losing someone to the war. That was an important factor in the campaign against the war.

Many people are unhappy with Speaker Pelosi, mostly because her Congress has been unable to end the war. Yet, in spite of this, Nancy Pelosi has succeeded in one thing: all of America is suffering. Mostly, we're suffering from the most annoying Congress in history.

So, all I can say is, keep up the good work, Ms. Pelosi! I recommend more pointless non-binding resolutions, more self-serving comprehensive reforms, and most important, more business-as-usual earmarks than even the most cynical pundit could possibly imagine.

Trust me. If you take my advice now, then when the 2008 elections roll around, there will be no doubt in anyone's mind about what needs to be done to fix the mess we're in.

Wait, didn't that super duper Democrat Congress pass the minimum wage bill?

Oh, my mistake, the majority of them voted against it in the House, and around 10 in the Senate ;)

On a serious note, it would be nice if the national GOP would get off their butts and start slamming the Democrats vocally, rather then just on their website, which I point out to them at least once a week. They failed to point out last year that among the top porkers, Democrats were king. The top travellers, Democrats.
