Catblogging - A Cold Truth

by Ferdinand T Cat

I'm a skeptic by trade, and usually, when I figure something out, there's this incredible AHA feeling. Sometimes, however, the truth leaves you cold.

According to the vet, a mysterious illness had been hitting older cats for months before the Menu Foods recall. Several months before that, The Other Cat refused to eat her Science Diet, and we switched to Purina.

So I was thinking about this, and also about the reputation cats have for psychic powers, and suddenly, all the pieces fell into place: she had tasted the difference.

Katy curled up in the blue chairSo if Bruce or any other member of his family tells you about how I refuse to eat breakfast until The Other Cat is there with me, now you know why.

Sometimes, the greatest treasures are curled up in a chair just a few feet away.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

This is special. How cute! (I have a number of kitties, too. Most of them were abandoned, and I could not let them go after nurturing them back to health.)

Ferdy, you sound like you're getting just a little bit sentimental in your... well, let's not say "old age", but perhaps "maturity." This is somewhat disturbing. Please get back to curmudgeonism soon.
