Catblogging - Living Without the Gremlin

by Ferdinand T Cat

Ferdy and the radio elephant pillow
The Gremlin is now 29 days into her one-year sabbatical to North Dakota. I've been helping Bruce cope with her absence by constantly demanding attention from him. This must be working, because instead of complaining about how much he misses The Gremlin he's giving me lectures liberally sprinkled with the phrase "too much of a good thing".

Anyway, now that I don't have to spend so much time looking after Bruce, I can spend more time napping. Here you see me with The Gremlin's stuffed-elephant radio pillow. It's not quite as comfortable as a pair of shoes, but it still has The Gremlin's scent on it, and if you sleep with your nose right next to the fur, it feels like she's still here.

Of course, I'm a superior life form and I don't actually miss the girl because I'm above these petty emotional needs, but it's still nice.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
