Catblogging - Room Ownership Problems

Lately I've been sleeping on a chair in the kitchen. The kitchen mostly belongs to Peg-Eye Nate, who does the cooking and shopping. The advantage of this is that Nate has a day job, so I get the room to myself for most of the day. This happy state of affairs ended yesterday, when Bruce decided to move into the kitchen so that he can have some relief from the general gloom of his office. So, every so often, Bruce reaches over to give me a skritch. I don't mind this normally, but when I'm sleeping the sudden human contact wakes me up rather violently. I tried moving to a chair further away from him, but he simply pulled the chair closer. So here I am not sleeping on one of the chairs in the kitchen.
It's not that I dislike humans, I just wish they'd stop changing things. Change is bad.
Respectfully submitted,
