Confused Americans for Truth - Student Electrified During Kerry Speech
Earlier today, Vietnam war veteran and former presidential candidate John Kerry was doing a Q & A session at the University of Florida, and a student was attempting to condense every known liberal conspiracy theory into three questions for the candidate. When it became clear the aforementioned student was not going to stop talking any time in the foreseeable future, he was removed forcibly by the police and stunned with a taser. There is an article about it here along with a video that includes the student's question and his ultimate fate. The video is pretty difficult to watch, but if you speed through the kid's question, it's no more painful than a beer commercial.
Kerry immediately condemned the arrest, but it's worth noting that he was completely powerless to stop it. It was not until well after the kid was stunned multiple times that Kerry attempted to intervene, and it was a lame, quiet intervention that had no effect.
I think this is an important example of what kind of President John Kerry would make. If the United States were attacked, Kerry would condemn the attack, but do nothing to stop it, and would allow repeated further attacks with little more response than a sort of vague declaration of intent that he wants to stop them.
The problem is, Kerry is not running for President. We need to know if Barack Obama would be effective at rescuing a crazy person from hordes of marauding law enforcement officials. We need to find out how long it would take Hillary to put her foot down in order to protect an ideological ally. It is critical to determine if in a similar situation John Edwards would offer a free haircut to the victim, or to the victim and the police.
So, if any of you is willing to be tasered and can spend at least five minutes imitating a liberal who is incapable of getting to the point, we need you to show up at the next Q&A session for your nearest Democratic presidential candidate. We've learned something very important from this incident, and it would have been nice if the guy we'd learned it about were even remotely important to the future of this nation.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

They put the 3 points on the scoreboard, and the game was won. It was over. People started on their way home. But wait! What is this? Theyć± e taking the points off the board! What is happening? The Raiders have to try again. Why? What is the penalty?... [Read More]

I'd be willing to be tasered for the experiment, but unfortunately I cannot fake being a modern faux liberal (reactionary "reality-based fantasist" advocate of anarcho-tyranny) for longer than five seconds--and it's a poor fakery to begin with.
Sorry. Maybe you can find a taker among the ranks of folks who've lost ALL their marbles from extended electroshock "therapy".

I agree with what you wrote about the lackluster approach to any attacks. The same, one might say, that Clinton showed. My God, that's all we DON'T need...

LOL. Ay, ye can last longer than me, matey. LOL.
OT: I thought the idea was to send a trackback everyone who trackbacks to you. I've been noticing that is not happening for some people, and I feel bad for them. They go through all the trouble to write exceptionally well researched posts, and no one is stopping by. That isn't fair. Do you think you could write a gentle reminder?
(I am not one of those people. I get so many I have a time of it keeping up! But I love it. I just want others to love it as well.)
Thank you, Ferdy. Tell Bruce I said hello. (lol)
