EMAIL Hell - In Which I Find My Intelligence Insulted by Left-Wing SCHIP Spam
I get this in my inbox.
President Bush just rejected children's health care. If we can get 2/3 of Congress to stand up to President Bush, we can overturn his veto on the State Children's Health Insurance Program -- a program that provides health insurance for millions of kids.
Join me and help to get those votes.
You can use a simple tool that will allow you to write a letter and send it to your Representatives instantly. Send your Senators and Representative a message telling them to stand up to George Bush:

Thanks.
I am deeply offended that they think I'll fall for this. I'm a superior life form. Rejecting an expansion of a children's health care entitlement is not rejecting children's health care. It's rejecting an increased subsidy that will make health care more expensive for everybody. That's basic economics.
It's no surprise to me that 12-year-old subsidy poster child Graeme Frost does not understand basic economics, but I expect all those Republican lawmakers who are over the age of 12 to be a little smarter than that. But Republicans in Congress are not known for their fortitude in the face of public opinion, so I'm worried.
So, if you are a voting citizen of the United States and you are represented in Congress by a Republican lawmaker, let him know immediately that you intend to hold him to a higher standard of intellectual accomplishment than a 12-year-old boy being coached by a manipulative politcal machine. You in fact understand that any expansion of health care subsidies has the potential of causing so much damage to the existing medical establishment that we will be forced to convert to a socialized medical system, under which future Graemes would in all probability have to wait months for the sorts of procedures that currently qualify them to be poster children of a manipulative political machine.
Anyway, act now. Given that George W. Bush is finally showing a spine on runaway spending, the last thing we need is for Congress to chicken out because of a Democrat spam campaign.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat
