Notes from Ferdy - It's All My Fault, and I'm Sorry
On the front page of today's Drudge Report you can find the following little item about the upcoming Democrat debate.
CNN's Wolf Blitzer has been warned not to focus Thursday's Dem debate on Hillary. 'This campaign is about issues, not on who we can bring down and destroy,' top Clinton insider explains. 'Blitzer should not go down to the levels of character attack and pull 'a Russert.'' Blitzer is set to moderate debate from Vegas, with questions also being posed by Suzanne Malveaux...
The point here is that when Hillary blunders during a debate, it's not her fault. It's the fault of a hostile media. As a superior life form and the producer of some pretty hostile media, I think I have to share a lot of the blame. Clearly, if Hillary has trouble answering a question tonight, it will be my fault.
I am really sorry about this. I really do want this campaign to be about issues. For example, Hillary wants to pull out of Iraq as soon as she becomes President, and I feel that this would be a victory for fanatics who believe it's okay to kill people who go to the wrong church. Unfortunately, the very act of making that objection is an unfair personal attack challenging her patriotism. I think the SCHIP plan will unnecessarily increase the overall cost of health care, forcing more people to go without insurance, but Hillary thinks opposition to SCHIP is based on hatred of children. Again, the problem is not her policies, but my emotional state.
As the leading candidate for the Democratic nomination, Hillary is going to face more scrutiny by the media and her opponents, and if she continues to look bad, it's going to be my fault.
So, please consider this my public apology for Hillary's problems on the campaign trail. I do want her to be able to defend her positions on the issues, it's just that I don't know how to make it happen.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

This is quite humorous, even though it is true. And they say that republicans are the secretative??? She plants the questions, then denies it although there are many more examples, and then gets a pass. It isn't right, and they know it. We cannot let her win. Our men and women in uniform are too important. Have a nice day. ;)
