The Conservative Cat

Here you can see Boots sleeping with a Friendship Sock. Bruce got me to scent-mark the sock, and then gave it to Boots so he can get used to me in a non-threatening situation. Tomorrow he'll bring the sock back so that I can learn Boots's scent. You're supposed to do this with a washcloth or towel, but I don't sleep on towels, I sleep on socks. I thought using a sock would help Boots to become accustomed to my way of doing things.

Finally, here we have a picture of The Girl in the shelter's free-roaming cat room. You can see that several of the cats understand the importance of making a good impression on The Girl.
