Confused Americans for Truth - I'm Outraged at all this Outrage
Deborah Howell of the Washingon Post has written an article [requires registration] about another article describing unfounded rumors that Obama is a Muslim.
Howell's article is a discussion of the rumors generated about a discussion of the rumors relating to rumors about Obama's faith. According to some rumors, the rumors about Obama's faith are being spread by his primary rival Hillary Clinton. In Howell's article, she refers to a Clinton campaign worker who was fired for forwarding an email that claimed Obama was a Muslim. It's possible that the firing is the source of the original rumors about the rumor, although in the article that is the subject of Howell's article, the spread of the rumor is credited to Human Events magazine and various conservative radio talk show hosts. In particular, many people use Obama's middle name Hussein, which is also the name of of the late king of Jordan, while only a few people use Hillary's middle name Rodham, which is almost the name of a basketball player who used to work with Michael Jordan. This could indicate that the rumors about the source of the rumors about the rumors are unfounded.
We will, of course, continue to track this story as it develops.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat
