Laura Ingraham - Laura Ingraham Radio Show Downloads in Firefox

by Ferdinand T Cat

If you are a Laura Ingraham 365 subscriber, then chances are you podcast the show. If you don't podcast the show, then you probably use Internet Explorer to browse to the site and download the show. If, on the other hand, you use Firefox, then should you follow the instructions on the site for downloading (Right-click and select Save Target As...) you will get a useless HTML file downloaded to your PC.

This has been a real problem for us. If you're a web developer, the tools Firefox gives you are vastly superior to what Internet Explorer can deliver. As a result, he uses Firefox most of the time, and switching into Internet Explorer to download Laura Ingraham is a real pain.

It turns out, however, that if you click on the little download icon instead of following the instructions, Firefox will do the right thing and download the file. It will even offer to open the file in Windows Media Player.

So, if you are one of the three other people who subscribe to Laura Ingraham 365 and want to download her shows using Firefox, now you know how to do it.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
