Web Site News - Update on the Comment Problem

by Bruce the Human Pet

I have been unable to fix the problem with the comment CAPTCHA codes, so I have simply turned the facility off. If you sign in, your comment will appear immediately; otherwise, it will be held for approval.

This is necessary because publishing a comment is an expensive operation. If humans are doing it, there is no problem; however, on two occasions a spam-bot that found a way around our filters forced our presence provider to disable the site in order to protect the server.

In any case, I will keep working on this.

Thank you. How do I sign in? Are you using TypePad? WP? Or do I have to join yet another thingy? lol. My last comment went through okay. (The one about the video with .EXE file.) Have a wonderful evening.

We support several login protocols, but one of them is Typekey, and your TypePad login would work with that.

HTML is not allowed in comments; however, if you put in a raw URL (http://www.somewhere.com/page.html) it will automatically be converted to a link.. Also, it is likely your comment will not appear unless you refresh the page manually after posting it.
