Laura Ingraham - Fox News to Feature Laura Ingraham on America's Election HQ

Fox News Channel will be trying Laura Ingraham as the anchor for its America's Election HQ show. According to the New York Times, FNC is not competing well in that time slot, and Laura-- who for some time has been the backup host for The O'Reilly Factor-- will be one of several anchors being given a tryout.

The Times reporter who broke the story believes that there will be less election news in the coming months, which is a reasonable conclusion if you believe that Democratic nominee is guaranteed to win, and I can certainly understand a New York Times employee believing that. Regardless, this will be Laura as a journalist, not a philosopher, so even if she stays on the job at Fox News, I'd like to see her back on the radio.

In any case, if you're a Laura Ingraham fan, be sure to tune into Fox News Channel at 5pm Eastern Time every weekday until further notice.

Was Just in w/ Laura Ingraham cancelled already? Fox reverted back to Election HQ with Edy Hill today.

The original plan was for a three-week trial (which expired at the end of last week). Even if Fox wanted to renew the show, there would have to be contract negotiations first, and those can drag on for a while.

I like Laura Ingraham. I sure wish She would Replace the O Reilly completely! I'm Sick and tired of knowing he's still on television.
