Notes from Ferdy - Sarah Palin Topless

It's been a really wild week. Bruce was just getting ready to take a few days to unwind when they told him his deadline for the next NMPDR database has been moved from next month to next week.

As a result, I've been unable to blog in one of the wildest weeks in the strangest Presidential race ever.

I was, for a while, going to blog about the fact that there's no such thing as safe sex. It's a math thing: a birth control method that's 95% effective is only about 50% effective if you have sex 14 times. You see, you're not looking at the probability of your safety device working once, you're looking at the probability of your safety device working fourteen times in a row.

Then, the whole pregnancy thing blew over, and it occurred to me that in this race is not about change, it's about the difference between change and reform. You see, Sarah Palin is a reformer: Barack is about government doing more for you, she's about government doing fewer bad things. Sadly, McCain missed a great opportunity on this and used the C-word in last night's big speech.

Neither of the above articles saw the light of day, because for every ten minutes of writing I produce, Bruce has to put in an hour of research, and he doesn't have any hours to spare. The research thing is non-negotiable: a superior life form can't afford to be wrong about the facts, so he has to look everything up before I can put it in the blog!

There is, however, one thing we do at Conservative Cat that doesn't require research. So, without any further ado, here is a topless photo of Sarah Palin.

You know, when I saw the post title in my trackbacks, I thought of a photo like this. And you know, this'd be the only hope of Mr. Plagiarism Biden in a debate w/Palin--that'd she'd debate him "topless".

You hit counter is no doubt going off the scale. I linked to your old post that promised pics of 'Laura Ingraham topless' and still get hits using those search terms. Hee hee. Glenn Beck is doing the same thing.

Re: contraceptive statistics... these are actually calculated for one year's worth of use, so that if a contraceptive is said to be 95% effective, that means that after twelve months 5% of users can expect to be pregnant. The rest of your calculation is right-in 14 years, 50% of contraceptive users will have become pregnant. These statistics do not apply to topless ladies.
