Notes from Ferdy - Be Afraid: This is How Illinois Politicians Think
It seems logical that since Barack Obama is an Illinois politician, and Illinois politicians are mostly idiots, Illinois citizens would be hesitant to elevate him to a higher office. This, of course, is sloppy reasoning, because the truth is that it is Illinois citizens who keep electing idiots. We simply don't know any better.
The poster shown to the left is an excellent example of the Illinois political mind at work. A reasonable concept-- pay attention when you're driving in the midst of pedestrians-- becomes a goofy exhortation to treat people with the same care and courtesy that is normally reserved for geese. In my case, that would mean killing one of the stupid things and dragging it back home for supper.
Seriously, folks. People are going nuts trying to prove that Obama is a dangerous radical or some sort of muslim sleeper agent, but none of that stuff gets any traction with the public because Barack Obama is not that complicated: he's from a political class where the height of subtlety and forethought is pretending to be sick so you can get out of going to jail.
So if you have any friends who are thinking of voting for Barack Obama, ask them this question: do they want the entire country to look as stupid as the people who live in Illinois?
It's an important question.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

An awesome question Mr. Cat! To me, the fact that Obama is politically "from" Chicago, is reason enough NOT to vote for him.
