Confused Americans for Truth - A Chance to Move Forward in a Spirit of Nastiness and Revenge
President Barack Obama has issued a memo demanding more transparency in government. In particular, Presidential archives—including those from past administrations—will be made available regardless of the wishes of the past administration members.
Rush Limbaugh points out that the order gives Democrats a chance to go digging for dirt on President Bush. Such dirt-digging will likely take place in Congress, where there would be no chance of Bush administration officials using the protections afforded to terrorists under another recent Obama initiative.
If this happens, a lot of time will be wasted, a lot of holier-than-thou posturing will take place, and a lot of attention will be diverted from this country's real problems, and a lot of journalists will pontificate on the wonderful new President and our wonderful new leaders.
Perhaps more people who've done nothing wrong but who don't remember the exact details of what they said about it will end up with felony convictions. This is sad, but every moment a Democrat spends pursuing revenge is one less moment spent screwing up the economy, and that's a good thing.
So, once again, I'm optimistic about our future. So far, the Obama administration is about symbolism over substance, and as long as it stays that way we have an excellent chance of getting through the next few years without a major economic collapse. It's a slim hope, but it's the best hope we have.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

There was a report that Obama had no intention of pursuing prosecution of members of the Bush Administration over war on terror actions and yet Pelosi was making noise, as she usually does, of pursuing exactly that. One almost needs a ready made form to keep score this far into a new presidency.
Hey, maybe we could ask the Messiah for some help with that. He wants ordinary citizens involved and to be transparent. We could have him spend some of those trillions on updates of he/said she/said soz I dunt has ta read.

Thank you Ferdinand for the only hopeful thing I've heard all week. And the more I think about it....just might work!
